- Place one section of Gutter Pro ™ on the outside edge of gutter. Snap in place. The S-shaped configuration of the product should slip into the front edge of the gutter securely. Lay product against roof starting right to left.
- Using the self-tapping screws supplied in the box set a screw in the center of the solid tab located at the top of the section. A ½” x ¾ “ piece of butyl rubber is placed on the underside of the product. Screw securely into the roof.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The butyl rubber supplies a waterproof seal as the screw is affixed into the roof. It should be used wherever a screw is affixed to the roof deck. DO NOT OMIT!
- The next section of Gutter Pro™ will be placed with an overlap. The notched end should be slipped over the end without a notch. Secure into roof deck. Screw should penetrate both pieces of product and screw securely into roof deck. Secure the two Gutter Pro™ sections to each other using the self-tapping screws.
- Endcap material is provided in the box. Cut a piece 4” to 4 ½” in height. Place along the roofline and under the outside edge of the Gutter Pro™. Cut away excess material. Slip endcap into place. Secure Gutter Pro™ to roof deck. Secure the endcap with screw, supplied in box.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Endcaps must be secured in place to maintain the integrity of the totally enclosed system.
- On a roof with 2 layers and certain custom-type roofs, longer screws should be used to connect into the wood, longer screws should be obtained by installer.
